Tutoring
Free tutoring is available to Richland students in the Academic Success Center, Room S134. Tutors are available by appointment for many core subjects including English, Math, Biology, Chemistry, and Health Professions/Nursing. Tutors can also help with reading comprehension, study skills, time management, vocabulary building, research, and specific written assignments. Computers with tutorial software and word processing programs are available on a walk-in basis. Currently enrolled Richland students also have access through Canvas to a 24-hour/365-day online tutoring platform called Upswing. Upswing offers tutoring in more than 100 subject/topic areas and is free for all students.
