NURS 230 Nursing Leadership
provides an overview of leadership, management, and professional principles related to nursing practice. Concepts are guided by the American Nurses Association (ANA) Scope and Standards of Practice and the Illinois Nurse Practice Act. Critical thinking/reasoning and problem solving are emphasized. This course is applicable toward all certificates and degrees (credit hours 2.0, lecture hours 2.0).
Prerequisite
completion of NURS 162, NURS 154, NURS 165, and BIOL 202 and completion of or concurrent enrollment in NURS 216, NURS 240, and ENGL 101
