Probation

A student may be placed on academic probation for failure to achieve the minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 required for good standing.

A student on academic probation is required to make an appointment to meet with their assigned Student Success Coach to discuss career and educational goals. The Coach may suggest enrolling in a reduced number of courses to improve chances for success, a different program of study, or repeating courses previously taken with a grade of “D” or “F.” The student may wish to utilize the Academic Success Center, Room S134, for tutorial assistance.

The student must achieve at least a 2.0 GPA during the semesters following being placed on academic probation until they achieve the GPA required to be in good standing.
