Kitty Lindsay Learning Resources Center (Library)
Located west of the Mueller Student Center, the Kitty Lindsay Learning Resources Center (Library) provides a wide variety of resource materials, computer access, and professional staff to help students. Access to computers with many of the programs used in various classes, printing, scanning, and photocopying is available. The Library offers different spaces for studying, including tables, reading chairs, individual study cubicles, and quiet student areas. Students can reserve a room that has space for group work, areas for presentation practice, or a family-friendly room when students have their children on campus.
The Library supports and expands classroom instruction. It provides both a physical and virtual environment that encourages students to develop research, communication, and study skills to be used not only while at Richland but also later in advanced studies or in their occupational life.
The Library offers a wide range of print, digital, and streamed materials for circulation and use by instructors in a classroom setting. Professional staff are available to provide reference and informational services for all patrons.
A student needs a Richland student photo ID card or RCC ID number to check out materials from the Library. The Richland photo ID card also enables a student to borrow books from 125+ other academic libraries in Illinois.
