The Steering & Suspension Specialist Certificate maps to the T4, H4, T5, and H5 ASE exams combining the brake systems and suspension & steering systems. Students earning this certificate must prove a working knowledge of the steering column, steering units, steering linkage, suspension systems, wheel alignment, wheels, and brakes. This laddered certificate builds on the Drive Train Specialist Certificate and provides the student with opportunities for advancement in this critical field.
Graduation Requirements
- Total Credit Hours: 16 credit hours in courses numbered 100 and above
- Cumulative Grade Point Average: 2.00 (‘C’) or better for all work applicable toward the degree that was completed at Richland
- Residency: 8 credit hours or more at Richland
