AGRIC 165 Regenerative Agriculture Practices
students will learn about farming systems which strive to maintain natural resource quality and quantity, guided by ecological principles, while supporting the economic health of the producer and community. Regenerative agriculture is a systems approach to increasing soil health and biodiversity, improving water and nutrient cycling and enhancing carbon sequestration in the soil. Students will learn how sustainable agriculture practices can be integrated to achieve agroecosystem health. This course is applicable toward all certificates and degrees; areas of concentration include agriculture (credit hours 3.0, lecture hours 2.0, lab hours 2.0).
