AGRIC 106 Animal Science
is an application of the sciences of genetics, physiology and nutrition to the improvement of the animal industries and an introduction to management and production practices. Includes animal breeds, breeding and selection; anatomy, physiology, and nutrition and growth; environment, health and sanitation; products and marketing; production technology and economics; animal behavior; and current issues in animal science. This course is applicable toward all certificates and degrees; group requirements include natural science (AAS only); areas of concentration include agriculture (credit hours 4.0, lecture hours 3.0, lab hours 2.0).
