Web Programming Certificate (011S)
The Web Programming Certificate prepares students with the essential technical skills required to design, develop, and maintain modern, data-driven websites and web applications. The program focuses on foundational programming concepts, web development technologies, and the integration of databases to support interactive and dynamic online content. Students develop competencies in programming logic, client operating systems, and information technology fundamentals while gaining hands-on experience with front-end and back-end web development tools. Coursework emphasizes web page structure, styling, scripting, database connectivity using SQL, and dynamic web application development. Through practical projects, students learn how to create responsive, user-focused web solutions that align with current industry standards.
Upon completion of the certificate, students will be able to design and deploy functional websites; apply programming logic to solve web-based problems; develop dynamic web applications connected to databases; and maintain web environments on client operating systems. This certificate supports entry-level employment in web development and related technical roles and provides a strong foundation for continued study in information technology or computer science.
