Agribusiness Associate in Applied Science (2063)
Completing the Agribusiness degree prepares and connects students to a vast number of career opportunities in the agricultural industry. Richland's location in the Agribusiness capital of the world uniquely enables the College to offer a combination of high-quality classroom instruction, hands-on labs, and supervised work experiences. Graduates of the program will be in high demand from the following types of agricultural companies: farm supply and service companies, crop insurance providers, seed companies, farm service government agencies, natural resources government agencies, processors of agricultural commodities, grain and livestock farms, and others.
This is a career and technical education program. Some of the courses may not transfer to four-year institutions.
Graduation Requirements
- Total Credit Hours: 61 credit hours in courses numbered 100 and above
- Cumulative Grade point Average: 2.00 ('C") or better for all work applicable toward the degree that was completed at Richland Community College
- Residency: 15 credit hours or more at Richland Community College

Additional Program Considerations
Students attending full time who begin in the spring semester may not finish in a two-year time frame. All AAS degrees include a required minimum of 15 general education credits.
Articulated AAS Degree Programs
Articulated programs are designed for Richland students who intend to transfer to another institution to complete a four-year degree after earning an Associate in Applied Science degree at Richland.
