Probation
A student may be placed on academic probation for failure to achieve the minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 required for good standing.
A student on academic probation will need to contact their assigned Student Success Coach to discuss academic probation requirements. The Coach may suggest enrolling in a reduced number of courses to improve chances for success, enrolling in a different program of study, repeating courses previously taken with a grade of D or F, or taking workshops to improve academic skills. The student may wish to utilize the Academic Success Center, Room S134, for tutorial assistance.
The student must achieve at least a 2.0 GPA during the semesters following being placed on academic probation until they achieve the GPA required to be in good standing.
