Service Animals
Service animals are welcome at Richland. The ADA defines a service animal as “a dog that has been individually trained to do work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability.” The student is responsible to cover any expenses necessary for the animal and to meet the needs of the animal. The service animal must meet all mandated state and local regulations for the presence of animals in public places (vaccinations, ID tags, etc.), must be in good health, and must be under the control of the student at all times.
