Facilities
Richland Community College District 537 includes all of Macon County and parts of Christian, DeWitt, Logan, Moultrie, Piatt, Sangamon, and Shelby Counties, serving approximately 7,600 students annually at its main campus in Decatur, at its Clinton Higher Education Center, and at several other locations throughout the District.
Richland offers students a more complete educational experience through the use of a variety of on-campus and off-campus facilities.
College Closing
In the interest of safety for Richland students and staff, the campus may be closed and/or classes and activities canceled due to hazardous conditions.
Richland uses the services of local radio, television, and social media to inform students and visitors if the College will be closed due to weather or other conditions. Information is also posted on the College's main webpage, www.richland.edu. When possible, the decision to close the College will be made prior to 6 a.m. for that day. If afternoon or evening closes are cancelled, a decision will be made by 3:00 p.m. Check the College's website, www.richland.edu, for the most current information.
