HIT 260 Analyzing Healthcare Data

introduces students to the concepts of data analysis. Special emphasis is placed on how to acquire, manage, analyze, interpret, and transform data into accurate, consistent, and timely information. Students will have access to actual datasets and data analysis tools to gain hands-on experience working with data and will specifically learn how to leverage data analysis tools and techniques to inform better decision-making in healthcare. This course is applicable toward all certificates, AAS, ALS (credit hours 3.0, lecture hours 3.0).
