MEDIA 110 Introduction to Mass Media
examines the mass media of our society: newspapers, magazines, radio, and television. The course treats the development of the media to their present forms, the process and theory of mass communications, and issues arising from the present state of mass media, such as "new journalism," "protected sources," and freedom of the press.
