HIST 201 Or & Dev of Imp China & Japan

surveys early Chinese and Japanese history, religion, philosophy, art, and literature. China's "golden age" and Japanese feudalism are covered, and special emphasis is placed on how present-day East Asian attitudes and beliefs were originally formulated. Meets third-world course requirements.
