ELTRN 111 Circuit Analysis
begins with definitions of voltage source, current source, and equivalent circuit. The loop, node, branch, ladder methods, Thevenin Theorem, and superposition theorem used in circuit analysis are also covered. The RC and RL time constants are defined, and their applications are introduced. Both inductive reactance and capacitive reactance are defined, and impedance is discussed in terms of complex variables and phasors. Series and parallel resonance circuits are studied. This course is applicable toward all certificates, AAS, ALS (credit hours 3.0, lecture hours 2.0, lab hours 2.0).
