CRJ 110 Criminal Justice Fundamentals

introduces the student to the philosophy and history of law enforcement and criminal justice. An overview of crime and police problems, organization and jurisdiction of local, state, and federal enforcement agencies, review of court systems, and procedures from incident to final disposition are included. Consideration also is given to professional career opportunities and necessary qualifications. This course is applicable toward all certificates and degrees (credit hours 3.0, lecture hours 3.0).
