COMM 110 Discussion & Group Conference
is an introduction to the theory and practice of small group communication. Emphasis is placed on social norms, the nature and types of groups, and leadership development. Students are expected to demonstrate both practical and theoretical understanding of problem-solving, information-gathering, decision-making, and conflict management. This course is applicable toward all certificates and degrees; group requirements include communications (AAS and ALS only); areas of concentration include communication (credit hours 3.0, lecture hours 3.0).
