AUTO 209 Adv. Driveability Problem Diagnosis

teaches advanced diagnostic and analytical skills that are needed to service today's high tech, computer-controlled engine management systems properly. Students learn intake and fuel system design and application, exhaust and emission systems, carburetors, fuel injection, ignition systems and problem diagnosis, computerized engine controls and circuits, and engine performance diagnosis and troubleshooting. Lab work includes examination, analysis, and diagnosis of various vehicles. This course is applicable toward all certificates, AAS, ALS (credit hours 4.0, lecture hours 1.0, lab hours 7.0).
