ACCT 206 Computerized Accounting Applications

provides an in-depth coverage of microcomputer accounting software such as QuickBooks as a tool for performing accounting tasks related to the chart of accounts, business transactions, account reconciliations, payroll, inventory, and accounts payable and receivable, and financial reporting for non-profit and for-profit organizations. Also examines the use of microcomputer accounting software as a tool for performing basic financial analysis functions. This course is applicable toward all certificates, AAS, ALS (credit hours 3.0, lecture hours 2.0, lab hours 2.0).
