AGRIC 235 Agriculture Business Management

is designed to provide students with the management skills and general knowledge necessary to successfully operate profit-based agricultural business operations. Topics include business structure types, buinsess planning, functions of management, managing risks, human resources management, sources and cost of credit, financial record keeping, analyzing budgets, taxes, and agriculturally-based software applications. This course is applicable toward AAS (credit hours 3.0, lecture hours 2.0, lab hours 2.0).
