NURS 100 Nursing Program Orientation
this course introduces students to the expectations, structure, and professional standards of the Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) program. Students will become familiar with program policies, communication processes, academic expectations, clinical and simulation requirements, technology platforms, and support resources essential for successful progression. Emphasis is placed on developing professional behaviors, understanding the role of the ADN student, and preparing for safe, competent participation in both classroom and experiential learning environments. This course is applicable toward all certificates and degrees (credit hours 0.5, lecture hours 0.5).
Prerequisite
admission to the Associate Degree Nursing Program.
