Withholding Student Information

Richland Community College has the right to withhold grade reports, transcripts sent to other colleges and universities, certificates and degrees, and other student information if the student has unmet obligations to the College, including financial obligations. Richland will not withhold transcripts from students with a balance owed if the transcript is requested to complete a job application; transfer from one institution of higher learning to another; apply for State, federal, or institutional financial aid; join the U. S. Armed Forces or the Illinois National Guard; or pursue other postsecondary opportunities.
