Emergency Medical Technician Certificate (2073)
The Emergency Medical Services Certificate is designed to prepare students to respond to emergency situations, perform various medical services and assist with transportation of patients to medical facilities.
Certificates less than 16 credit hours are not eligible for financial aid.
Graduation Requirements
- Total Credit Hours: 7 credit hours in courses numbered 100 and above
- Cumulative Grade Point Average: 2.00 (‘C’) or better for all work applicable toward the degree that was completed at Richland
- Residency: 4 credit hours or more at Richland Community College
- Coursework: Achieve ‘C’ or better in all prerequisite and other program courses
Additional Requirements
- Students are required to complete the Health Professions’ Health and Immunization Record form to demonstrate current immunizations and physical ability to perform program requirements
- Students must submit to a FEE APP fingerprint based background check
