HIT 260 Analyzing Healthcare Data

introduces students to healthcare statistics and how they are generated. Concepts of calculating and reporting standard and healthcare statistics and basics of statistical computation are covered as well as research methodologies in healthcare. Students access actual datasets and data analysis tools to gain hands-on experience working with data. This course is applicable toward all certificates, AAS, ALS (credit hours 3.0, lecture hours 3.0).
