This program is designed to provide the knowledge and skills required for basic competencies in welding for persons currently employed in occupations utilizing welding and for persons seeking initial employment or assistance entering a local apprenticeship.
Certificates less than 16 credit hours are not eligible for financial aid.
Graduation Requirements
- Total Credit Hours: 12 credit hours in courses numbered 100 and above
- Cumulative Grade Point Average: 2.00 (‘C’) or better for all work applicable toward the degree that was completed at Richland
- Residency: 6 credit hours or more at Richland Community College
