Mechanical Electrical Specialist Certificate (101C)

This certificate maps to the ASE Collision B5 exam for mechanical and electrical components. The student who earns this certificate must have a working knowledge of the suspension and steering systems of a vehicle, the primary electrical systems, brakes, HVAC, drive train, fuel and emissions, and engines. This advanced certificate requires a wide range of skill sets in these specialized areas. This certificate will increase a person’s opportunity for advancement in the collision field. 

 

Graduation Requirements

1. Total Credit Hours: 23 credit hours in courses numbered 100 and above
2. Cumulative Grade Point Average: 2.00 (‘C’) or better for all work applicable toward the degree that was completed at Richland
3. Residency: 10 credit hours or more at Richland Community College
