SOCIO 105 Domestic Violence & Intervention Techniques
is an overview of historical and societal attitudes toward domestic violence issues. Emphasis is on cycles of violence, abusive family patterns, crisis intervention, advocacy skills, and applicable state laws. This course is applicable toward all certificates and degrees; group requirements include social science (AAS only); areas of concentration include social science, sociology (credit hours 2.0, lecture hours 2.0).
