HORT 290 Work Experience Practicum & Seminar

provides students in the Horticulture program the opportunity to apply principles learned in other courses to the work situation by employment in or observation of activities necessary for the student to succeed in the workplace. The student and the instructor will communicate at least once a week to review progress. 150 hours of work-based experience are required. This course is applicable toward all certificates, AAS, ALS (credit hours 3.0, lecture hours 1.0, lab hours 10.0).
