CDL 1000 Tractor/Trailer Driver Training
is designed to provide individuals who have little or no commercial driving experience with the knowledge and skills necessary to obtain a Class "A" Commercial Driver's License. The student will satisfy the FMCSA regulations 380.501 for Entry-Level Driver Training. They will develop skills to become a safe commercial driver to aid their employment in the transportation industry. This course is applicable toward all basic certificates (credit hours 3.0, lab hours 5.0).
Prerequisite
CDL 1005 and ability to read and write the English language, 18 years or older, physically meet Federal Department of Transportation guidelines, possession of a valid driver's license at time of registration, possession of a current Motor Vehicle Report
