RADT 110 Principles of Radiography I

provides a knowledge base in 2-ray production. Factors that govern and influence the production of the beam include the nature and characteristics of radiation, x-ray production, and the fundamentals of photon interactions with matter are presented. X-ray beam forming principles covered include exposure factors, filtration, beam restriction, attenuation, pathology, and grids. This course is applicable toward all certificates and degrees (credit hours 3.0, lecture hours 3.0).

completion of RADT 101, RADT 102 and RADT 108 [grade of 'C' or higher] and concurrent enrollment in or completion [grade of 'C' or higher] in RADT 115, RADT 118 and BIOL 101
