CRJ 112 Investigative Report Writing

prepares students to use appropriate grammar, punctuation, and spelling in written communications and identify the purposes and characteristics of an effective Criminal Justice report. The course prepares students to record effective field notes as the basis for a Criminal Justice report. How to use accurate and concise language, organize a narrative in chronological order, and construct a Criminal Justice report by separating categories of information are also covered. This course is applicable toward all certificates and degrees (credit hours 3.0, lecture hours 3.0).
