examines methods of reducing atmospheric CO2 concentrations to mitigate the effects of global climate change. CO2 absorption processes in oceans, forests, and soils, as well as carbon capture and geologic sequestration, are examined. CO2 utilization and technical, legal, economic, and social conditions for geologic sequestration are also discussed.
